“Grassland and Grit” was created by local artist Jennifer Radil in a collaborative effort with The Grey Plume. Inspired by maps and topography like the geological formations in the Badlands of western Nebraska combined with the locally sourced mixed-media materials used in composition (paints, colored pencils, India ink, coiled string, bits of leather, and fragments of vintage maps) creates a truly one-of-a-kind piece proudly displaying our heritage and our commitment to out community.
This print was matched to the original artwork in a collaborative effort between the artist and printer to create a print that faithfully captures the essence of the original. Each print has been approved for color accuracy by the artist before being signed.
This color-rich, fine art reproduction was crated from a digital capturing of the original artwork located at The Grey Plume and printed using archival, pigment-based UV ink using a giclee process. The inks are durable and fade resistant with a display life of 108-200 years under normal indoor conditions.
