For the true pork lover and advanced culinary adventurist with a home freezer to fill. Join us as we demonstrate the art of whole animal fabrication! Gather around a whole hog and learn the four basic primal cuts of a pig; shoulder, loin, belly and ham…and how to use them. You will cure pork belly to make your own bacon, cut loins into thick double-boned chops and more – all of which you get to take home!
Bring in an additional student and learn together for an additional $30.
Class is from 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM.
Sign-up fee for this class will include: registration for up to two students, Wusthof Classic Series 7″ Boning Knife and all the delicious pork that you cut up.
Significant freezer space is strongly recommended.
Classes are held at Provisions by The Grey Plume located at 3157 Farnam Street Suite 7106 in Midtown Crossing.
Street parking not recommended. Three hours free parking available in Midtown Crossing parking garages.
Payment for all classes is due upon registration.
Cancellation within 48 hours of the class will be subject to forfeiture of registration costs.
